The title of Best Van Converter: Manufacturer (New & Used) has been awarded to Leeds-based Vantage following the results of the Owner Satisfaction Awards 2025 last week.
The Owner Satisfaction Awards are held in conjunction with the Camping and Caravanning Club (C&CC), with votes received from members of the C&CC and readers of Practical Motorhome to offer an in-depth analysis of the current condition of the market. This not only reveals the leading brands, base vehicles and dealers, but also the best campervan converters that are offering a standout service.
To do well in this category is a noteworthy feat – it requires a converter to not only excel at manufacturing but also at retailing, something Vantage is clearly doing as the converter scored an impressive 90.4%.
Vantage secured the title at the 2025 Owner Satisfaction Awards after successfully seeing off last year’s winner, Consort, who took second place this year after scoring 88.4%. Close behind came Bilbo’s, with the Surrey-based ‘van converter scoring 87.9%.
Two manufacturers qualified for Silver Awards too; these were WildAx (82%) and Volkswagen (81.2%). It continued what had proved to be a successful Awards for Volkswagen this year, as the company topped the Best New Base Vehicle category and received a Gold Award in another category.
