Coachman launched its new Duro campervan at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC in Birmingham this week.

The four berth ‘van comes with four travel seats and is a 4×4 campervan based on a Mercedes Sprinter. The two cab seats are heated and swivel around to face the travel seats, with the ‘van also offering a central washroom and kitchen. At the rear of the ‘van, the bed is electrically operated, with bed steps folding away.

It’s kitted out with an excellent spec for off-road adventures, including a 9 Speed Automatic Mercedes-Benz 190HP engine, 18-inch tyres, and Mercedes-Benz crosswind assist.

Other features include an electronically operated awning, distronic adaptive control, a sound insulating soft ceiling and carpeted wall coverings, and an Alde wet motorhome heating system which also includes AGS II Waterborne underfloor heating.

The Coachman Duro is not the only new campervan to launch at this week’s NEC Show, with Bailey also debuting two new additions to its Endeavour range, the B63 and B65. Those who are after a low-profile ‘van may want to check out the new addition to the Excel range on the Auto-Trail stand, with the Ford-based range also now available with an optional pop-top roof.
