Staffordshire-based dealer Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld has installed 12 EV charging points at its premises just off junction 14 of the M6.

The dealer stocks new and used ‘vans from some of the best motorhome makes, including Dethleffs, Hymer and Laika.

Four of the points are available for customer use via the Monta app. The others are being used by staff benefiting from the company’s fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles.

This latest development at the dealership follows initiatives such as a 100% renewable wood pellet burning system, solar panels, LED lighting and motion sensors, and more.

Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld Operations Director Erik Baxendale says: “The investment in electric vehicle charging points aligns with our values to reduce our environmental footprint. This is a long-term investment that will have a positive and sustainable impact on our carbon footprint and overall utility costs for years to come.”
