Leisure World consolidates activities to establish 'super site' at its Catterick premises

Leisure World, which operated three branches across North Yorkshire, has consolidated all of its activities into its original outlet, previously and often still known as Catterick Caravans.

Leisure World is an agent for new ‘vans from some of the leading makes of motorhomes, Adria, Auto-Trail, Bürstner, Coachman, Swift, Elddis and Roller Team. The dealer can also help those who are thinking of buying a used motorhome, as it handles pre-owned models, as well as running a hire service.

Referred to by the firm as its “super-site”, the Catterick base includes indoor and outdoor vehicle displays, an extensive accessories shop (including online sales) that has been fully upgraded, the recently introduced Terrace Café Bar and Eatery, a full aftercare centre and more.

Announcing the move, Leisure World said: “Our teams, products and services from our York and Tyneside branches will be moving to join forces with our team at Catterick. This will create a single super-site, transforming Catterick into a first-of-its-kind ‘destination dealership’ for all of your leisure needs.”

Other industry news has seen McLouis appoint a new dealer to now stand at 16 outlets across the UK.
